Take a Walk

Walking is an easy activity to support our mental health. Studies show many benefits from regular walking, even with just 10-30 minutes a day.

Walking boosts mood. Our brain chemicals change when we walk, lowering stress levels and increasing chemicals that promote feelings of well-being and calm.

Walking improves self-esteem as it encourages confidence, body health, and a sense of accomplishment.

Walking with friends or in groups can strengthen relationships and fight feelings of isolation.

Start small. Choose enjoyable places to walk. Be as consistent as you can.

Even baby steps count.
